Your new puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of adoption. We provide a 30-day warranty covering life-threatening congenital defects and fatal puppy illnesses including parvovirus and distemper. This coverage requires you to take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of going home for a complete wellness exam. You must email us the veterinary records within 7 days to keep this warranty valid. We provide complete health documentation including vaccination records, deworming schedule, and microchip information.

Genetic Health Guarantee (2 Years)
We offer an industry-leading 2-year guarantee against serious genetic conditions common in Dachshunds. This includes Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) with MRI confirmation, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist, severe patellar luxation (Grade 2 or higher), and life-threatening congenital heart defects. Should any of these conditions occur, we offer three options: a replacement puppy from our next available litter, a 50% refund of your purchase price with proper veterinary documentation, or a $500 credit toward treatment costs. Please note this excludes conditions caused by trauma, neglect, or improper care.

Your Responsibilities as an Owner
To maintain this guarantee, we require you to follow specific care guidelines. Your puppy must receive all vaccinations on our recommended schedule and annual veterinary wellness exams. You must keep your Dachshund at a proper weight, as obesity voids IVDD coverage. Activity restrictions include no jumping on/off furniture (ramps must be used), no stair climbing for the first year, and always using a harness instead of a neck collar for walks. Nutritionally, you must feed high-quality kibble we approve and avoid dangerous human foods.

Making a Warranty Claim
If health issues arise, you must notify us within 48 hours of diagnosis. We require complete veterinary records, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans. Our team will review your claim within 10 business days and present resolution options within 5 days after review completion.

Our Lifetime Commitment to You
Even after warranty periods expire, we remain available for support. This includes 24/7 access to breeder advice, membership in our private Dachshund owner community, and emergency rehoming assistance if needed. This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. A signed copy of this agreement must be returned with your deposit.
